Hello to all my readers!
Since my blog is very new, and comes with only the description of ‘Just Megg Things’, my vision for this site might not be apparent to all my readers.
Between freelancing and other life admin, I haven’t been able to post as much as I would like, but now that I am settled in my new home and getting my rhythm back, I thought I’d let you know where my blog is heading.
As some of you might know, I have varied interests – from traditionally nerdy domains like gaming and technology, to other topics such as travel and lifestyle (i.e. food, comedy shows, festivals, etc).
I had the unique position of being both a Technology editor and a Travel editor at the same time – and I developed a love for both.
This blog is aims to give readers a point from which to dive into these topics.
So far gaming and technology have been my primary topics, but I will be expanding into travel and lifestyle a bit too. I’ve worried about the coherence of these topics on the same site, but my blog is an extension of me and my interests aren’t neatly fitted into any archetype of personalities.
I like to think of this blog as looking at some of the awesome things in life. While topics may vary, my content will have a common thread – and that is the key requirement that it has to be interesting.
I look forward to sharing my adventures and more of the things I love with my readers. You will also note that I am beginning to add menu items so that you can look at the categories that specifically interest you.
