iPhone 14 smartphones launch in South Africa: price and contract details

The iPhone 14 range is now available in South Africa, with the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max landing in stores on 23 September. 

However, there’s no news on when and if the iPhone 14 Plus will launch locally. Globally, the phone will be available in stores beginning 7 October.

Apple’s latest smartphones were announced during a showcase event on 7 September. 

The launch of the phones brings along with it Apple’s first ever 48MP smartphone camera lens on the Pro and Pro Max.

The Pro Max is also one of Apple’s biggest smartphones, equipped with a 6.7-inch display.

But how much does the iPhone 14 range of smartphones cost in South Africa?

iPhone 14 range price in South Africa 

The new range of phones will be available for cash, as well as on cellular contracts. 

In terms of cash prices, the standard iPhone 14 starts at R20,599. The iPhone 14 Pro starts at R25,699 and the Pro Max starts at R28,399.

In terms of contracts, the iPhone 14 range is available from Vodacom, MTN, and Telkom.

Prices depend on the model and storage capacity of the phone. For contracts, prices also differ based on whether you take out a 24-month or 36-month contract.
