Tecno has launched its mid-range Spark 10 series smartphones in South Africa. The company hosted an activation at Canal Walk on Tuesday, 9 May, to give potential customers a preview of the devices.

Both the Spark 10 Pro and Spark 10C are now available in South Africa, along with the Spark Go 2023. The Spark 10 5G will become available at a later date.

Spark 10 Pro

The Spark 10 Pro was the headliner at Tecno’s activation event. The phone comes with a 6.8-inch FHD screen and a 50MP AI camera. In the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.

It also includes 8GB of built-in RAM with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM created by the phone’s Memory Fusion Technology.

It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The phone’s design also stands out thanks to its glass back cover.

The phone features a 6.6-inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its design features more colours than the Spark 10 Pro, with a Meta Blue and Meta Green version available.

Like the Spark 10 Pro, it features the Memory Fusion Technology that boosts its 8GB of built-in RAM with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.

It also includes a 16MP main camera with an 8MP selfie camera.

Tecno Spark 10 series price in South Africa

The Tecno Spark 10 series is currently available in South Africa from Tecno retail partners like Vodacom and TFG.

The Spark 10 Pro has a recommended retail price of R6,999, while the Spark 10C has a recommended price of R2,499.

The Spark Go 2023 has a recommended price of R2,499, but has a special launch price of R1,999 for May. The special is available at participating TFG stores, including:
