The first Asus ROG smartphone to launch in South Africa will be the ROG Phone 6, with pre-orders now open for the smartphone.
The ROG Phone 6 series was unveiled earlier this year and includes the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro — however only one version of the device will be available in South Africa as part of a limited run.
The ROG Phone 6 has a variety of impressive specs that set it apart from the typical smartphone. It’s packed with 16GB of RAM and features a 6000mAh battery.
The display is a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED panel that supports HDR10+ and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.
Meanwhile, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor and Qualcomm Adreno 730 GPU.

ROG Phone 6 price and availability in South Africa

The ROG Phone 6 is available for pre-order at a price of R22,999. However, stock is limited, with pre-orders limited to the first 50 customers.
The expected delivery date for orders is 16 December 2022.
