Honor South Africa has announced that the Honor X7a, a smartphone equipped with a 6000mAh battery, is now available in South Africa.
This follows the launch of the Honor X9a in South Africa in January, with both devices aimed at offering consumers value-for-money.
The X7a stands out for its 6000mAh battery, which Honor says lasts up to three days. Other highlights include a 50MP quad-camera and slim design.
Available in two colours (Ocean Blue and Midnight Black), the smartphone includes a 6.74-inch IPS display with a 1600 x 720 pixel HD resolution.
It comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio G37 MT6765H processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of on-board storage.
For its main camera, the X7a features a 50MP main lens, 5MP wide-angle lens, 2MP depth lens and 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile, on the front it includes an 8MP selfie camera.

Honor X7a price in South Africa

The Honor X7a is available in stores and from mobile networks. It has a recommended price of R5,499.
You can also get the smartphone on contract from Telkom and Vodacom.
The contract price for the X7a starts a R289 per month for 24 months on the Telkom FlexOn 2 package. At Vodacom, it starts at R249 on a 36-month contract and R299 on a 24-month contract.
